History Making Tennis Team!

This year is the first time in the history that one school has had all players in the finals and finalist positions in the State Tournament. Stowe should be extremely proud of this outstanding achievement by the Boys Tennis Team. Coach Dick Bashaw stated, "It was the strangest feeling sitting there and not coaching!" Coleman Gay played Colin Tasi in singles, and Jeremy and Gregg Lauchtrupp played Tyler Murphy and Luke Grovsvenor in the doubles. Congratulations to you all!

Boys Tennis Match Location change Tuesday 6/3

Boys tennis, Montpelier at Stowe has been move to an indoor sight. It will be held at the First and Fitness Windridge facility in Jeffersonville, 3:30 PM.

Directions: Go through the Notch on rt 108. that teh Y in Jeffersonville take a right. The facility will be the immediate right hand turn after the 158 Main Street Restaurant.

Girls' Varsity Tennis Pairings

Congratulations to the Stowe High School Varsity Girls’ tennis team! They are ranked #2 and will play Otter Valley (#7) on Wednesday, 6/4, 3:00 PM at the Stowehof.

Boys' Varsity Tennis Pairings

Congratulations to the Boys' Varsity Tennis Team! They are the #1 seed and will meet Montpelier (#4) on Tuesday June 3rd. at 3PM. The matches will be played here in Stowe at the Stowehof.

Boys' Singles and Doubles State Championships

The following are the times when Stowe Boys' Varsity Tennis players will have their scheduled playoff match. All players must meet at Leddy Park in Burlington at least 1/2 hour before the scheduled match.

Colin Tasi: 5:45 pm Thursday 5/29 (if win, Colin plays 2:30 Friday 5/30)
Coleman Gay: 2:15 pm Thursday 5/29 (if win, Coleman plays 1pm Friday 5/30)
Greg and Jeremy Lachtrupp: 1pm Friday 5/30 (if win, TBA)
Tyler Murphy and Luke Grosvernor: 5:45 pm Thursday 5/29 (if win, they play 3:45 pm Friday 5/30)

Girls Tennis Postponed 5/3

Essex at Stowe, V and JV has been postponed due to the weather. Reschedule date will be posted as soon as it is available.

Golf Practice Friday 5/2

The Gold Team will meet on Friday at the Stowe Country Club at 3:30 PM.

Boys' Baseball and Girls' Softball Cancelled Today

Due to the rain, these games are have been rescheduled for June 2nd at Danville.
