A reminder that if school is canceled due to the weather, games and practices of all types are also canceled.

Stowe Sports Games Canceled Tonight 12/11

Boys Hockey at home vs Harwood and the Boys Basketball game @ Twinfield are both canceled due to the upcoming snowstorm. Please check back for a rescheduled date.

Boys Hockey will practice at 6PM Tonight

Girls Hockey will practice at 7:45PM Tonight

Boys Basketball teams will not practice.

Boys Basketball VS Richford canceled, rescheduled for Monday January 5th JV 6:00/ V 7:30PM- boys will practice tonight regular time.
Boys Varsity Ice hockey VS Harwood , Canceled rescheduled for Thursday 12/11 one ice 6:00, game time 6:30- boys will practice tonight 6:15 to 7:30.

Girls Basketball game time changes

Please double check the game times for girls basketball. Week day game are typically going to start at 6:30pm due to the cancellation of the girls JV season.

JV Girls Basketball Season Canceled

Due to low numbers the JV Girls Basketball Season is now canceled. Please look at the Varsity schedule as some Home Game times during midweek are now 6:30 start times instead of 7:30. We are sorry this has occurred and hope to have a better turnout in future years.

Congrats Fall Sports!

Congratulations to all the Fall sports teams at Stowe HS but a particular Hats Off to the Boys Soccer team for the defense of their State Championship in Div III soccer. All of Stowe is proud of the accomplishments of this team and Coach Jamie Birmingham, consecutive State Championships, a task well done .

And how about the Girls Soccer team being seeded #12 and reaching the Semi-Finals before bowing to Peoples! To all the Girls and Coach Tim Ziegler, nice work!

Then what we have all come to expect, but that isn't the way sports work and only hard work gets you there, Coach Bev Osterberg once again had the Girls Field Hockey team in the State Championship game only to lose so closely in a shootout on penalty strokes to Rice! The game could have easily gone another way but it doesn't diminish one iota how we feel about the terrific accomplishment this season's Team!

The Cross Country runners under the tutalege of Becky McGovern performed admirably at the State Championships at Thetford Academy and carried the colors of Stowe High School with honor!
